The images below show marking off the holes and positions of ribs on the spar webs, followed by drilling out the lightening holes with a fly cutter. You can use a pistol drill as I have here, due to the length of the piece, which makes it hard to cut on the drill press.
Most other items cut with a fly cutter I have used the drill press. Note the end flanges bent up in the third and last photos.
