After some consideration I’ve decided to make the flanging dies from MDF, which should work okay. The difficulty in obtaining or having these items specially made has influenced this decision and given the rest of the ribs were made successfuly with MDF, I see no reason why it won’t work for the dies.
On my trip to Melbourne last week, I bought a few router bits for the job and today I made a jig for the router to cut the circles.
