Finished the aileron ribs and made the tip ribs.
I have to say, the plans can be annoying at times, as here they make no note of whether or not there should be any relief holes on the corners of the tip ribs. Obviously you’d assume they should be there, as per standard practice, but although they go into great detail to describe all the dimensions and angles, no mention of relief holes. I wondered if it was because the tips are visible and therefore the holes are undesirable. Checking the photo guides, they are there, so I put them in. Right along side the standard aileron ribs show relief holes… albeit with no diameter mentioned!
I’m run into these small omissions a fair bit… I sometimes wonder if there is a deliberate ploy by Zenith to discourage plans builders and push for kit purchases.
